Responsibilities

  • This position will assist the other developers in Vietnam with development work related to enabling developers to make use of the Confluent Kafka and Kong integration platforms.
  • Specific tasks include:
  1. Development work with C# to push data onto Kafka topics and consume data from Kafka topics
  2. Debugging Kong API problems on behalf of developers
  3. Supporting the creation of documentation and automation to speed up and simplify the work involved for developers to use these platforms.
  • The developer would be expected to assist with 2nd line support tasks as well as assist the scrum team with after-hours and intra-day deployments.

Requirements

Must have:

  • More than 05 years of experience in .NET development with expertise in developing large-scale enterprise applications and solutions.
  • Proficient with .NET Framework.
  • Experience working with any message broker software.
  • Experience working with any API management.
  • Certified or obtained a solid knowledge of Azure cloud technologies.
  • Work well in Agile Software Development using Scrum framework.
  • Understand and follow Azure DevOps: CI/CD, Automation, and IaaC (Terraform).
  • Proficient in GIT using GIT flow.
  • Well-versed in writing structured, well-documented, maintainable, and clean code.
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in Apache Kafka, Confluent Cloud, and Kong Gateway.
  • Clean code and refactor code ability.
  • Experience working with distributed teams in global engineering organizations.

Soft-skills:

  • Effective verbal English skills in video conferences and face-to-face communication.
  • Know how to manage tasks and perform context switching
