Responsibilities:

Website Design (50%):

  • Lead all aspects of website design, including conceptualization, wireframing, prototyping, and final visual execution.
  • Apply user-centered design principles and conduct user research to inform user interface and user experience decisions.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless design implementation and functionality.

Graphic Design Expertise (30%):

  • Design captivating graphics, layouts, and illustrations for websites, marketing materials, social media, and other digital and print platforms.
  • Ensure brand consistency and alignment with marketing goals across all design deliverables.
  • Employ advanced typography, color theory, and composition techniques to elevate design quality.
  • Participate in brand strategy sessions to develop visually compelling designs and create assets like mood boards and style guides, ensuring brand consistency across all channels.

Video Production (20%):

  • Develop creative video concepts, script storyboards, and manage filming for product demonstrations, guidelines, and company recap videos.
  • Edit videos utilizing advanced techniques in transitions, graphics, and sound design to produce polished, engaging content.

Design Quality Management:

  • Set and uphold design standards and best practices within the team.
  • Review and provide constructive feedback on design work, ensuring quality and alignment with client and company goals.
  • Mentor and guide junior designers to support their professional development.

Requirements

Hard Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in graphic design, with expertise in UI/UX.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, etc.).
  • Strong portfolio showcasing exceptional skills in UI/UX, website design, and brand development.

Soft Skills:

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and creativity in design thinking.
  • Client-focused approach and experience with client interaction.
  • Project management skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Good written and oral communication skills in English.
  • A mindset conducive to a start-up environment (a plus).
